Pros and Cons of Teeth Bleaching

Pros and Cons of Teeth Bleaching

A beautiful, white smile is always attractive, so we work hard to get it. The stores are filled with whitening toothpaste, mouthwash that will fight against the bacteria and whitening strips that will work overnight. However, all these seem to be inefficient at some point, so you are in search of a more extreme, but efficient solution. Take a look at the pros and cons of teeth bleaching:

  • Pro: It will save you a lot of time, and possibly money. If you are obsessed with your smile, you may be spending hundreds of dollars on whitening products. Since you have to apply them daily or weekly, this also takes a lot of time. Well, if you get your teeth bleached, you will not have to worry about any of this anymore. You will just visit the dentist every few months, and forget about all those strange strips.
  • Con: It is not always healthy. Of course, most of the dentists promote this as something very healthy and non harmful. If you do your own research, you will find out that there are many risks and you can easily destroy your teeth.
  • Pro: You will have a Hollywood smile. Appearance matters more than anything else nowadays (even if we like it or not). You are concerned about your hairstyle, manicure and outfit, so you need perfect teeth to go with this. Indeed, there is no toothpaste or whitening strips that can give you this smile.
  • Con: If you do it once, you will have to repeat it. The effect only lasts for a few months, then you have to bleach them again. During this time, you are not supposed to drink coffee (at all!) or anything that could stain your teeth. Even blueberries are out of the question! Are you ready to give up all these goodies for whiter teeth?
